One of my favoritest friends Tiffany is getting married in just a few short weeks in Roswell. To celebrate, we got a group of girls, a party bus and headed to Pine Mountain, Georgia to the Wild Animal Safari. I had never been, but several of the other ladies had and it sounded like a blast. Of course, the morning of the party, snow flurries were coming down. Yes, in March, in Georgia…weird. We all bundled up and took the party bus there, had great food and company and arrived at our destination (after a couple pit stops).
The safari involves driving through a gated entrance and along a path with animals walking around your vehicle and (not so) patiently waiting for food. Before entering the safari, you can purchase food to feed the animals. We had a big group, so we split a 50 lb. bag of feed. This made for a much more adventurous ride.
You can also decide on taking your own car, renting a van or riding the tour bus. We decided to rent a van because there are no bars on the windows and the animals can basically get in the vehicle with you. I was nominated to drive. It was quite an adventure…
