Because of Charles’ demanding work schedule, he was unable to make it to Owen’s first doctor’s appointment on Thursday. I was so nervous about going by myself, but luckily Kristin was able to go with me so someone could sit in the backseat with Owen. He did wonderfully. He weighed in at 7 lbs 10 oz, so he was almost back to his birth weight. The visit wasn’t too long and he was an angel the whole time.

Next up, we met Tiffany for coffee just down the street. She is currently on leave from work due to the government shutdown. It was a really nice day and we enjoyed catching up on the patio of Starbucks.
