One of the biggest projects left to do on our house was the siding and windows. When we moved in, there was a good bit of siding that was rotten and needed replacement, but that got put on the back burner after other projects. We also needed some of our windows replaced (some had already been replaced when we moved in). This was in hopes of lowering our sometimes $400/month power bills…keep in mind our house is not large.

We went with a company called Exovations to replace the siding, windows and finish up screening our back porch.

I am so thrilled with the final results. We learned a lot about our house once the old siding had been pulled off. We found that there was one entire side missing insulation! We also found out that there were some very old cedar beams used to build our house, which was pretty cool.
