My animal-loving mother (you now know where I get it from) has been acting as a guardian over five box turtle eggs she witnessed being laid in her yard. She has been waiting and waiting on them to hatch. Now that three of them have hatched, she has decided it is her duty to protect them from the elements and feed them. They were born on September 29th (Owen’s birthday!). Here are some pictures-they are so tiny!
