Our November hatchlings are being evicted from our basement and moving to the barn. There are 10 bantams and 4 olive-eggers.  Preparing for the move.  New home!

Just a word of caution…the donkeys are NOT ready to be hugged…and I have a nice hoof-shaped bruise on my thigh to prove it.

The donkeys have had a few more days to settle in. They are slowly learning that humans bring good things like food and treats. Yesterday, we spent the day getting the barn more “donkey-friendly.” Since Charles had to hide them for a few days, he just put them in the biggest stall down there and…
