On Thursday we woke up bright and early to head to Atlanta for Charlotte’s eye surgery. She has had issues with blocked tear ducts in both eyes since she was just a wee little one….well she’s still a wee little one but you know what I mean. Sweet girl did great waking up without any breakfast. She was in and out of her procedure in less than 10 minutes. Dr. Lipsky at Thomas Eye Group did a wonderful job in making us feel comfortable and keeping us updated the entire time she was in the back. As she was waking up, she was extremely fussy. I’m pretty sure everyone in the entire building heard her wailing! She was disoriented and, in turn, not having any of the nursing staff’s attempts to check on her. Eventually, they let us head out after she was more awake. We came home and she napped on and off for a couple hours…then, she acted like nothing even happened! She was a happy little girl the rest of the afternoon. Thank the great Lord above for a successful surgery and a happy baby.
