Johnny Horse – The Paulk Pack

Johnny Horse

I was reminiscing about my days on the GA Southern Equestrian team and remembering my sweet boy Johnny horse. I remember the day he arrived at the barn, and the next day that Eleanor put me on top of him, in the rain, bareback…and I almost fell off when he was spooked by a tractor. I remember his goofy ways and how he liked to drink from the hose by holding it in his mouth. Johnny was my all time favorite horse. He was such a goofball. I wish I could have brought him home with me when I left Statesboro.

Thanks to social media and some researching, I have located Johnny, aka Walk The Line, as he has had several owners since our time together. He now resides in Hampton, GA at the Calvin Equestrian Center and spends his days as a therapeutic riding horse and on trail rides. Looks like he has hit the jackpot!
