We hosted Christmas again this year. Since having Owen, it’s become even more fun around the holidays (if that was even possible)! I was excited that we finally had a common space for everyone to enjoy their meal, and later, our annual cookie decorating contest. This year, I actually made sugar cookies from scratch.

Our normal Christmas Eve plans did not happen this year. Our good friends, Ryan and Kaylie, got married on Christmas Eve! Charles attended their wedding while I stayed home with Owen. He had to make a trip to the doctor that morning for an ear infection and fever that just wouldn’t go away, so it was best for him to stay in while I cooked and prepped for the following day.
