UPDATE: As of Saturday 2/6, Peach has made massive improvements. I think we are through the worst of it. Yay Peach!

I’m sitting here in the barn tonight with my first hands-on experience of colic. My girl Peach has definitely seen better days. We noticed her rolling and uncomfortable late this afternoon so we called the vet. We administered banamime, which didn’t seem to help so the vet came right out….seriously, he got here in five minutes. He gave her a sedative, tubed her and administered mineral oil. Now, we will wait and see…and do lots of praying.
